Welcome to My1000Home. By accessing or using our platform at www.my1000home.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully before using our services. If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use our platform.
1. About My1000Home
My1000Home is an online marketplace that connects hosts offering accommodation, massage, wellness services, restaurants, fitness centers and unique experiences with guests seeking to book them across Cambodia, Thailand and Southeast Asia. We act as an intermediary platform and are not a party to the agreements between hosts and guests.
2. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using our platform, you confirm that:
- You are at least 18 years of age
- You have the legal capacity to enter into binding agreements
- You agree to comply with these Terms of Service and all applicable laws in Cambodia and Southeast Asia
- If using on behalf of a business, you have the authority to bind that business to these terms
- The information you provide is accurate, current and complete
3. User Accounts
Registration: You must create an account to list services or make bookings. You agree to provide accurate, current and complete information during registration and to keep your account information updated.
Account Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You must notify us immediately at info@my1000home.com of any unauthorized use of your account. My1000Home will not be liable for any losses resulting from unauthorized account access.
Account Types: My1000Home offers two account types: Guest accounts for booking services and Host accounts for listing services. You may hold both account types simultaneously.
4. For Hosts
Listing Requirements: Hosts must:
- Provide accurate and truthful listing information at all times
- Maintain listings with current availability and pricing
- Comply with all applicable local laws and regulations in Cambodia and Southeast Asia
- Obtain all necessary licenses, permits and authorizations for their services
- Maintain appropriate insurance coverage where required
- Ensure their services meet basic safety and hygiene standards
Host Responsibilities: Hosts are solely responsible for the accuracy of their listings, the quality of services provided, interactions with guests, compliance with local health and safety regulations and payment of applicable taxes.
5. For Guests
Guests must treat hosts and their properties with respect, follow all house rules and service guidelines, communicate honestly and respectfully with hosts and report any issues or concerns promptly to My1000Home.
When making a booking, guests agree to pay the total price displayed at checkout, agree to the host cancellation and house rules, and take responsibility for reviewing all listing details before confirming.
6. Payments and Fees
Commission: My1000Home charges a 10% commission on each completed booking. This fee is automatically deducted before payment is transferred to the host and covers platform maintenance, payment processing and customer support.
Payment Processing: All payments are processed securely through ABA PayWay (Cambodia) and PayPal (international). Guests are charged at the time of booking confirmation.
Currency: All prices on My1000Home are displayed in USD (United States Dollars).
Taxes: Hosts are responsible for determining and paying any applicable taxes on their earnings in accordance with Cambodian law and other applicable regulations. My1000Home does not collect or remit taxes on behalf of hosts.
7. Cancellations and Refunds
Cancellation policies vary by listing and are set by individual hosts. Please review the cancellation policy carefully before booking. If a host cancels a confirmed booking, the guest will receive a full refund. For full details, please review our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
8. Prohibited Activities
Users are strictly prohibited from:
- Posting false, misleading or fraudulent listings
- Engaging in illegal activities through our platform
- Harassing, threatening or discriminating against other users
- Attempting to circumvent our payment system or pay hosts outside the platform
- Collecting user data without authorization
- Using our platform to promote illegal services
- Creating multiple accounts to manipulate reviews or ratings
- Violating any applicable laws in Cambodia or Southeast Asia
9. Intellectual Property
My1000Home owns all rights to our platform, including design, logos, trademarks and software. By posting content on our platform, you grant My1000Home a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, reproduce and promote your content for platform and marketing purposes.
10. Limitation of Liability
My1000Home acts as an intermediary marketplace. We are not a party to agreements between hosts and guests, not responsible for the quality or safety of listed services, not liable for any damages arising from host-guest interactions and not responsible for content posted by users. Our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by applicable Cambodian law.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless My1000Home, its officers, directors, employees and agents from any claims, damages, losses or expenses arising from your use of our platform, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any third-party rights.
12. Governing Law
These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Cambodia. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Siem Reap, Cambodia.
13. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. We will notify users of significant changes via email or platform notification at least 14 days before changes take effect. Continued use of our platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
14. Termination
My1000Home reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms of Service, engage in fraudulent activity, consistently receive negative reviews, harm other users or our platform, or violate any applicable laws.
